Father's Day killer dad Brian Philcox doped kids before gassing them to death

Dad Brian Philcox drugged his children before gassing them to death in a Father's Day horror, an inquest heard yesterday.
He died as he clutched the hands of seven-year-old Amy and Owen, three, in the back of his Land Rover.
Their bodies were found at a North Wales beauty spot. A pipe had pumped exhaust fumes in the car.
Philcox, 53, had argued about access rights with estranged wife Lyn McAulisse even though he saw them twice a week.

Lyn, 37, of Runcorn, Cheshire, told the inquest the karate expert collected them two days before Father's Day last June.
She contacted police when he did not return the children and later heard the news they were dead.
In a statement after the inquest in Llandudno, Lyn said: "I will never forgive him. He was an evil man."
Verdicts: Unlawful killing and suicide.
